Tell us your food stories.
I’ve decided to use paisleyexperience.com/blog as a channel to document my learnings about the cuisine, the culture and the people, and I invite anyone who’d be interested, and curious enough to take the plunge into researching and writing about their food experiences, its history and stories, to contribute to this effort.
Feel free to write to me with your ideas, submissions, images, etc. I’d love to discuss and showcase your story on the website.
I want Paisley Experience to be not just a sustainable dining venture, but a platform to preserve and keep food traditions and lost culture alive.
What we’re looking for:
1.Recipe or ingredient-led essays that delve into regional cuisine.
2.Stories from the field, covering social, or environmental subjects around food, produce or the industry as a whole.
3.Photo-essays with a narrative
4.People centric food stories.
5.Travel stories that explore cuisine and culture.
If you’re as passionate about food stories as I am, I’d be more than happy to have you on board for this project. I look forward to reading your stories, and I am eager to have you as a writer on Paisley Experience’s blog.
A few guidelines:
Content must be original.
The article must exceed 200 words.
Pictures if included should be original and of good quality.
Include all text and pictorial matter in a GoogleDocs file. Titled with your Name and Article Topic.
This is simply an effort towards preserving food tradition and history. Write to your heart’s content. Multiple submissions welcome.
