About Us

Rooted in memory, tradition, and terroir, Paisley Experience is a restaurant and catering service that celebrates produce-driven, heirloom recipes with deep cultural resonance. We offer more than just meals—we create experiences that connect people to the land, its stories, and its flavours. Founded in 2018 as a modest delivery kitchen, Paisley has grown into a culinary and cultural destination. Today, it is run by Naina and Dhani Goregaonkar, a mother-daughter duo whose shared passion for traditional cooking and storytelling shapes every aspect of the brand—from its rustic dining under a banyan tree to its curated catering menus and heritage experiences.

Food with a Sense of Place

At Paisley, every dish begins with thoughtfully sourced ingredients and time-honoured techniques. Our cooking is done on a wood-fired chool, and our menus are rooted in regional recipes passed down through generations—especially from the Agri and Pachkalshi communities of coastal Maharashtra.

From festive Sanacha Taat thaalis to seasonal pickles, fiery thhechas, and hand-pounded chutneys, our food carries the taste of memory—and the joy of revival.

Our catering services bring Paisley’s signature warmth and detail to your venue. From intimate sit-down thaalis for small gatherings to abundant, seasonal buffets for larger events, we tailor every element—from menus to presentation—while accommodating all dietary needs with authenticity and care.

An All-Women Kitchen Team

The heart of our kitchen is a small but formidable team of four women from the local community. Their skill, intuition, and lived knowledge are the backbone of everything we serve. These women are not only the custodians of culinary traditions, but also quiet revolutionaries—preserving flavours, feeding stories, and creating impact through their everyday work.

Experiences Beyond the Plate

Paisley Experience extends into immersive cultural offerings, including heritage walks, storytelling sessions, and seasonal workshops. Each experience is designed to deepen one’s connection with food—not just as sustenance, but as history, geography, and emotion.

How We’ve Grown

What began as a food delivery service has evolved into a full-fledged dining and catering brand with a distinctive voice. We now host intimate meals under a centuries-old banyan tree, cater elaborate events at private venues, and continuously explore new ways to honour tradition while staying relevant.

Through it all, our values remain unchanged: cook with care, serve with soul, and celebrate where we come from.
